But, they are dropping the $5 late fee so is it gonna be $50??? AND, on top of that...”the town currently cuts off service for about 30 later customers per month”??? W.T.H. are they thinking? Some already can’t afford their bill! Are y’all trying to add to that problem by raising the late fee! Btw Judy, very good point! You were lucky if you got yours on the 7th, I kept checking the post office and finally got mine on the 11th. I know once they take them to the post office it's out of the hands of the town. We have about 11,000 customers and it takes us a day and a half to read rather than a week and a half. We have also gone to a third party billing and it works fantastic. I know that if someone would make changes and see them through the utility systems of Century could at least sustain themselves financially.
