I wouldn’t be surprised if the powers that be, charge the inmate with escape in order to add more time to his sentence to protect the for profit prison industry. I will be shocked if he’s not charged with escape because of someone else’s mistake.

at least he didn’t go run in hide ? and enjoyed his freedom I’m sure he knew they made a mistake but can’t blame the man for just going along with it and enjoying time to spend with friends and family that there speaks alot.

@citizen It was a clerical error meaning someone unintentionally clicked a button or checked a box it’s called a mistake as a human you make them.

@jack rabbit Did you not read the very last line of this article? It states “She said the ADOC Law Enforcement Services Division is investigating the incident.” So yeah they are looking into it.

@Bama sadly even though it was only a bolo and not an armed and dangerous you are absolutely correct.
