It’s called Time of Use, or TOU, rate rider. Our family just switched to it. If you have the schedule and ability to choose times when you use electricity, it may be for you. We believe we will do well in the winter months because the low rates at night will reduce our nighttime heating expense. And, the low rates apply on all weekends and six holidays each year. I have my AC totally off- this is the worse "public utilities" ever!!! This in-person assistance is not what we need. We need this company to quit taking advantage of its customers and by cutting our rates down to a manageable amount. The high gas prices, increasing food prices, and outrageous power bills too? It stinks!
