We own a boat and we have the money for the increase, but honestly, I must agree that to increase at 50% all of a sudden is just the start. Reallocation of funds makes more since to me.

If you can afford to own and operate a boat, you can afford the increase, especially considering the county ramps are still free to use. The removal of debris, log jams and/or derelict vessels is not cheap or easy to accomplish. It takes an unreal amount of time and hassle, just to get the permits.
