If he should get out, you need a restraining order in place, not that it would stop him from doing harm to you, obviously. More so, as a tool for law enforcement to lock him up again. Lastly, if he does get a bond, find out which judge came to that ill-conceived decision and VOTE accordingly in the next election. Although it can be a difficult decision to turn in a family member, you did the right thing for you and the community- before someone could get killed.
