Maybe I’m stating the obvious but….

The City of Pensacola does not run the jail nor do they operate the camera. Escambia County Corrections which is the agency under the Escambia County Board Of County Commissioners operates the camera.

But I do agree, the camera is pretty awful. For a new (county) jail they should have better mugshot cameras.

It’s crazy how the city of Pensacola can come up with a funding of millions of dollars
to build a new jail, but can’t afford a decent Camara. Smh

I think it’s nice that they have kids with crayons coming in to do the mug shots now, I’d hang that on my fridge.
