On the other hand, I witnessed an accident years ago and I did stop (on my way to work) and a gentleman was also killed. I was tied up in depositions and court for months, so I think this may be one reason where people do not want to get involved. This caused alot of issues for me-while I don’t regret stopping to see if I could help the driver in any way possible (it was too late, he was killed on impact) but it did make me think twice about stopping again. Would I stop again, probably–because if it was me or one of my family/friends, that’s what I would want someone to do. You might could save someone’s life.
I’m just saying some do not because they know what it could lead to in the aftermath.
