I agree with W Ward. If we keep it clean and take care of the place our grandkids can continue to have the good times we did 60 and 70 years ago

That had It closed for an extended period of time a year or so ago. It’s a primitive campsite and great as it is. It’s hard enough to get a reservation without extended closures.

@Fence Jumper – I was think exactly the same thing. Article clearly says it only has a pavilion, portable toilet and reservation only campsite in addition to river access. Don’t see anything in that list that would require waiting until Mid May to get started on a project that could have been done in February..

..These places are great..I have swam and.canoed on Perdido for 70 years..I just want folks who use these places to please take their trash and beer cans home with them when they leave..We are.lucky to have this beautiful river..We need to take care of these spots we enjoy…
