I don’t have a problem with a small increase of 2 or 3 percent to cover increase due to inflation and God knows we have inflation right now. But with all the new homes and increased revenue coming in why now? Why after the housing is starting to slow down the timing is interesting to me. What did they do with the increase revenues when they were coming in did they do what most people do spend every dime thinking it would never end. And why do they raise rates instead of cutting expenses 5 percent. I never hear of any organization making tough cuts because of they have to instead they just raise rates like a increase limit on a credit
Card that we will have to pay

The increase has absolutely nothing to do with greed. As already noted here, all costs have gone up, which includes minimum wage. You have to make the changes with inflation. If you enjoy safe drinking water, it’s best to support it because it’s happening regardless of your complaints.

With the increased wages, increased cost for supplies, increased cost for vehicles, increased cost of fuel and energy. What do you think was going to happen. I do not support the increase but I understand why it is needed. I am sure the increase will support the retention of current staff and the ability to continue to operate autonomously from ECUA.

yes yes yes I'm all for for a 5% increase with this booming housing market and all the trucks need to be updated and the cost of materials going up the water company has no choice but to raise the rates. besides the fact all the employees needs a raise to keep up with inflation. it's a win win so let's get the ball rolling raise those rates by 5% buy those new trucks it would be so nice seeing new trucks rolling around in Molino and the employees need new uniforms ? Molina has came a long way and it's because of those hard workers who makes sure ( clean water ) is in them homes. ( end of story )
