Addiction is extremely complex and so many times folks pointing their finger haven't taken a look in the mirror at their own dis-Ease. It is a shame when our addiction creates extreme consequences. Most times, incarceration comes right on time and having time away from what is destroying us is vital...but, there is no doubt, that rehab and guidance is an absolute necessity for those that want it. Addiction is real. Addiction is a liar and a thief. Our obsessive compulsive behaviors want us dead. If you think for second that you or a family member is not at risk at any given minute. Think again. No one dabbles with drinking beers or thinking I will just do this once or twice with no concept of how one is flirting with serious consequences. I have come to believe that when you are hating on or condemning another and, forget about unconditional love with your unforgiveness that you remember it is the destruction of the dis-ease that we really hate. And, that your love one or another human being might need a life saver or preserver thrown to them. When I realized that Jesus did not seeking perfect people to be His disciples. He chose the misfits, underdogs, murderers, the pure thugs as we call them now to be His chosen ones. There is no doubt the Lord His Holy Spirit in us can turn a mess into a major message of hope and restoration in each of our lives. Don't just give up on anyone so easily. There is hope for us all. Losing hope is a death sentence long before we actually die. Everyone needs hope and a chance to learn and have a deeper understanding of their behaviors..
