Many times teams use players to enter GameChanger and their knowledge of what constitutes a hit or an error gets a little hazy. We keep our GC in the dugout and have our JV HC score the game. We do have times where we discuss it so we try to get it right. The GC itself has limitations and doesn’t allow for scoring errors in certain situations.

But for the record the stat line most coaches follow is —- .obp

If you get on base you usually win. Doesn’t matter how just get on base.

Kimberly McGhee, are you talking about the line shot that the center fielder dropped? If so, that’s not technically a hit, it’s a reached on error. The article also has 5 names with base hits, but I don’t think Tate had 5 hits, I can only recall 3 hits. Nonetheless, a hard fought game by the 2 best teams in NW Florida!

Well thanks, but the stats on the game are in correct and someone needs to make the update. If we are not counting his hit then maybe you need to recheck the stats on other players that went 0-3 and got credited for it. Stats is stats!!!!!

Certain congrats if he did. But the team stats on the game, which may be in error, show he was 0-3, striking out twice and walking once.
