To Jennifer…Coach T is indeed the Mr. T, PE teacher from Longleaf Elementary!
I taught at Longleaf many years ago when he was there before I transferred to the Hospital/Homebound Program where I finished my career.

Congratulations Coach T!
When I was a student at Longleaf Elementary we had a Coach T too. I would love to know if they are one in the same.
If so, he was a kind and dedicated P.E. Teacher.
He was larger than life to us youngsters!
I can recall it like it was yesterday, Coach T asking me if I was interested in being on Safety Patrol.
For me, there was no higher honor. I like rules!
I still have my commemorative mini-Safety Patrol badge.
So, if this is the same Coach T: I thank you for fond school memories and the service you have given to young people’s betterment.

I pushed for a wrestling program from 1983 to 1987 when I graduated glad they have one..

He taught three of my sons. They were wonderful wrestlers. My oldest son just got an award for his wrestling with Telatovich, here at Tate just a few weeks ago. I was so proud.Looking at his photo now,and not having seen him in thirty plus years, we are all “looking”our age.WOW! Coach congratulations! Thanks for the memories!
