I hope the trooper makes it through this ordeal without long term injuries. IF! A person is paying attention and driving responsibly this type of crash should not happen. This is unacceptable driving! This type of crash points to a distraction and what that distraction was is the underlying cause. This for all practical purposes is not an accident, it is willful neglect without an excusable medical emergency. These are the kind of idiots people have to deal with on the road and are they everywhere.
