Odd as it is i have seen them at Whataburger before.
Maybe coincidence while having to change Engineer due to hours of work or something.

CSX built the RR to server the people! If the people do not want the service, I am sure CSX would work out an arrangement! OR, the people could donate money to build a bridge over the RR.

This happens all the time! I set there for over an hour last week before I had to figure out the way around. I don’t live up there and I drive a truck and don’t know my way around up there. It is frustrating.

Trains are governed by the transportation board. Cargo trains have no laws to prevent this. And the personel does need to eat

CSX does care if they block a crossing or two…..
There is NO one in this county that will enforce the laws that
are on the book to prevent thing like this from happening…….
So, just turn your car off, and wait…..nothing else to do……..

If they would quit stopping at Whataburger to eat this wouldn’t be an issue. Try having medical issues trying to get across and 3 other crossings blocked too! This is ridiculous and needs to STOP!!!

Yes! I have personally seen and confronted the driver of the train while he’s waiting for his food at Whataburger. This has happened many times. This is not just frustrating but a very dangerous and irresponsible act on the part of CSX. I have, on several occasions, attempted to call the company but got nowhere.
We in Century should not tolerate such dangerous behavior!

They stop at Whataburger and eat all the time. about a month ago they had every crossing in Century blocked from Salters lake Rd. to cottage st. behind the Dollar general store. An emergency vehicle would have to go all the way around through downtown Flomaton just to get to us. Something needs to be done, and I know they have to stop and wait on other trains and there’s a schedule. If they have to stop they need to stop before they get into town.
