Mrs. Paige was a lovely lady in every way. She was an influence for all around her to live with dignity, calmness, humbleness, and reason. Century was a better community because of her presence there. It would be nice if more recognition could be given her. Perhaps at the upcoming Sawmill Day . . . .

I believe that God blessed Mama Ruth to live a long and fruitful life because of the fact that she was instrumental in helping to bring so many lives into this world. I am one of the “over 2000” babies that was delivered by her over 65 years ago. And I was blessed to have a special relationship with her. I can remember spending the night at her house from time to time as a child. She always remained a special part of my life. She will be missed.
