Heck, one of Jesus’ first miracles was turning water into wine at a wedding feast, and he even served wine at the Last Supper. Would you consider Jesus Christ a guilty sinner bound for hell?

@Florida Alcohol won’t send you to hell. Not accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour will send you to hell. It’s really sad that people think they can “work” or “deed” their way to heaven by doing or not doing what others think is a sin. John 14:6 says “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
He is not a way, as in one of many; He is the way, as in the one and only. No one, regardless of reputation, achievement, special knowledge, or personal holiness, can come to God the Father except through Jesus.
There is NO sin that is so bad that you cannot be saved, except sinning against the Holy Spirit. Any sin can, therefore, be forgiven. Jesus spoke to prostitutes, the down-and-outers in life, etc. The big thing is – you have to give in to Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Redeemer.

This is new to me. Alcohol sales were banned on Sunday? What’s the reasoning behind this? Why on Sunday and not Friday? Seems arbitrary. Who thinks this stuff up?

If alcohol is legal 7 days a week and not 6, who in their right mind actually cares LOL

prayers yes Going to church won’t take you to heaven Alcohol will send you to hell some preachers may not preach it is a sin. No sin is going to heaven . I know I am not the judge people have to answer to the Lord on that day when it’s there time.

Sad I knew people who would save a few beers Saturday night for Sunday morning until it would go on sale at 1pm on Sunday. This law never made sense to me, alcoholics plan around the times. Might as well make it 24/7 since alcohol is legal.

Forgive my ignorance, but I’ve never understood the concept of “illegal to sell at certain times.” If alcohol is legal, why make it illegal to be sold for certain hours? I’m not big on alcohol, but legal and illegal hours of selling anything doesn’t make much sense to me. I’m confused on what was ever trying to be accomplished by the hours of “illegal selling.” I remember when Flomaton voted on Sunday alcohol sales. They had to put their “Christian values” aside to make money. I guess they thought they might keep people “holy” on Sunday if they didn’t allow alcohol sales. Lol

While you are praying for Atmore, throw in a few for the rest of the county. Liquor sales were already legal earlier than Atmore allowed if you go outside the city limits into county jurisdiction.
