I own a junkyard and have had many stolen from thieves jumping the fences at night. I would also not buy them if someone walked in to sell one removed from a car. I would buy the junk car for a fair price complete from the person selling the whole junk car. Then I am allowed to remove the catalytic convertor and sell it to a recycled. That's the honest way to make money. All the junk.yards are not involved and what's the old saying there is always a few bad apples in the basket. I have had many stolen from me and good job to the police department for brining these guys off the street and they are due their punishment. Can't stop with 3 there are thousands more people out there. I am also in favor of a law to document someone selling a catalytic convertor so this crime can put put to a end.
