My 2 cents on the matter. I think when heading north bound on Hwy 29 and the light turns green to make left onto Hwy 97. There is no sign that said NO U Turns. Drivers coming from 97 at the light and are looking to see traffic on Hwy 29. I have seen many times at this light wrecks that almost happened due to someone making a U Turn from Hwy 29 to go to the Tom Thumb and the driver coming from Hwy 97 was not watching the other vechicle. And

I’ve passed thru that intersection often. After they installed those lights, I knew there was going to be a problem. Coming from Atmore at night, if you are unfamiliar with the intersection, the southbound green light for 29 can appear to be a green light for 95. It is a poorly designed traffic control point that no one wants to admit.

The left turn onto 97 needs to be green arrow or red arrows only. Get rid of the whole ‘yield on green’ thing, because obviously people aren’t yielding.

My grandaughter was taking her drivers test and the instructor took off poinrs because she has been taught to always stop and look at that intersection before proceeding no matter the color of the light. I was proud of her and told the instructor it may save her life in Molino. She did pass the test overall with flying colors. Please stop and look good at the light at the tom thumb in Molino. Weekly wrecks out here.

Don’t know how Auto insurance agents get any sleep ! Just yesterday I approached a major intersection. A round red light was on and a green arrow to the right of the Red light was on …which one. You gonna trust ?
