@Henry Coe: I know a couple of family members who had similar symptoms and tested early and was negative, but they went back again for another test as their symptoms worsened and they were positive. Articles from health officials I have read say to assume you're positive if you have symptoms. I tested positive this past week and yeah, the symptoms are similar to that of the flu or the cold, but it's definitely its own thing. Stay safe out there everyone.

Just boils down to one thing. The unvaccinated. When vaccines became available had 90-95% of the population gotten vaccinated we could have eradicated this virus. It could not have mutated to the present form or any other form. People brag they got it and had very little illness and the next time they got a variant and died. Slowly but surely people get vaccinated after they see how bad it can be, if they don’t die. So one day it will be gone but it’s a shame these holdouts keep causing this virus to survive. The antivaxers are responsible for the deaths of countless others...women, men, children and in many cases their own. Some statement of how little people care about their own lives must less the lives of others, even their own families.

I got my results back and I tested negative for Covid which is awesome but that leads to the question of why am I tired, sleeping a lot and still running a low grade fever?

I agree it's not if you catch it but when.
How your body reacts is another story.
I take my vitamins with a heavy dose of D and get plenty of sleep.
I also got jabbed.

It isn't about practicing better habits or anything like that, this variant doesn't speads like wild fire. I work for a PA-C and there were like 5 employees out one week, we mask up, we sanitize, we social distance at work... So explain that part, everyone is vaccinated....it's not a matter of if with this, it truly is a matter of when you get this variant .

People, practice better habits! Everyday you should take your vitamins, exercise and eat healthier. Also, stay away from alcohol and tobacco and you’ll have a greater chance of NOT getting sick or having lesser symptoms than if you didn’t. As a traveling nurse, I can tell you to not be over alarmed about COVID. Yes, it is a deadly virus but so is the flu, cold, pneumonia, and many other things. Most of the patients I see in and out are obese, old, and have bad habits of tobacco and alcohol. So, include those healthy habits into your life to lessen your chances of getting sick and living healthier.

Maybe 3702. I'll find out in three to five days.
My symptoms started off as a nasty sinus headache on Monday and then a low grade fever about 24 hours later with lots of body ache.
The headache is still around, though no where as intense as the first couple of days and the fever comes and goes. I've been sleeping a lot. It feels more like Mononucleosis than any kind of cold or flu but that may be due to being vaccinated.
I had Pfizer 1 & 2 last year with the booster toward the end of November 2021.
I hope the bug I have stays like this as it runs its course. The concern I have is from the stories I hear of others who have mild symptoms for a week or so and then the respiratory part of the virus goes on overdrive. Having mild COPD, that's a big concern that I hope to avoid.
