Some neighbors sent off fire works and the sparklers ended up on the roof of my house. I was asleep at the time and wasn't aware what was going on. My security camera caught the incident. I complained to my HOA, but was told there was nothing they could do. If I died in the a fire, they couldn't do anything either. Isn't it wonderful to live in Florida. I live in a Cul de Sac. I have a veteran that lives with me and two dogs that are scared of fireworks. On Dec 31,2021 at 6 pm fireworks started and today on January 1,2022 6am fireworks were still being released! Now it is 6:10pm and still no brake from it. I think we should at least have a time for it to start and a time for it to end and if rules are not followed then the Santa Rosa County police department should give large fines. Living in a subdivision are our houses are so close together we need respect for our Vietnam Veterans and all other Veterans that live around us that suffer PTSD! And our pets. I love to have fun and love that we can do fireworks but it should be done in respect of our fellow neighbors and pets. To be woke up at 6am to fireworks being blasting off is not respect and blasting fireworks all day is ridiculous it's to much!!
