We have paid the same or close to the same in property taxes for years. Granted , it’s entirely too high as it is. So high here in Florida that it’s rediculous.. But it’s been that way for as long as I can remember.. I’m sure it’s high anywhere.. U never OWN your property once u buy it. Even when it’s paid off, as ours is.. We now lease it from the state or government..So why not help others.. And while they at it, why not help some of us with these property taxes? Where do we sign up for that!!?

From $1300 to $2300 and $2300 again. No changes to the property. Not quite double but close enough.

No one’s property tax doubled this year unless a major change was made to said property.

Oh, is this why property tax is almost double again this year, so we can pay somebody else’s rent?
