@Timothy Minko the fines you’d pay from burning garbage are probably higher than that plus you could be harming yourself and others inhaling that crap. It’s illegal to burn garbage.

ECUA charges $27.89 per month. This includes two cans, one regular trash and one recycle, plus weekly yard trash pickup, and bulk pick up like old furniture, appliances, and other large items that will not fit in a trash can. Yes, it cost more but they offer more services. Maybe if the town wasn’t getting their cut there would be more services or a smaller fee for what is offered.

I’d just burn my trash rather than pay the town of Century or some company.

25.34 X 12 months = 304.08 a year.

304.08 a year X 35 years = 10,642.80

Every penny counts.
