I pray that the state of Alabama steps up to help this mans family and make sure that they get the help and benefits that he worked so hard to obtain for them. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who serve on the thin blue line, we need you more now than ever before. But, I must say that we need you to police your own as much as you do the community. Then and only then can the damages done by the few bad officers be undone. The community must see you as the professionals we expect and not as thugs with a badge. My sincerest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the officer. Can we find our way away from these senseless tragedies? God, please Bless us and keep us safe, especially the people who try to keep us safe while putting their own lives at risk.
