I completely understood the added connection between the Town of Century and Central Water Works on Tedder Rd., but I do not understand why Central Water Works should have to supply to the Town of Century when their water wells go down (and we all know they are going to). There is NO benefit to Central Water Works, as The Town of Century can not push water up hill to Central. Central is better off without the towns mill stone around its neck!

that was gas meters. I guess they don't budget for the future?

Next they will want the state to pay their wages.

I believe that in the last year the Town of Century had funding to replace their meters.

Was it gas meters that have been replaced in the last year? I don't think they replaced all the gas meters, just some of them. They never complete a project.

So taxpayers bail out incompetence and mismanagement again...

The town would fail if it was not for grants and government assistance...

Perhaps in the future someone could explain here why Century does not get its water and sewage services from ECUA.

Didn't they replace water meters a few years?

At any rate, have the current meters reached their useful life cycle?

Did you get your money's worth out of them?
