People are becoming more comfortable with speaking out and we as a community should keep encouraging them to come forward. 2. Law enforcement has better tools in there box now to catch these monsters. I can't praise the cyber crime unit enough, along with the national center for missing and exploited children. Thank you and bless you all for what you do, I know that you're exposed to heart wrenching situations, but without you the abuse would continue, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! More people are preyed upon by family members and friends of the family than strangers. Those saying that this is the same as the teacher having sex with a teenage student, there is only one similarity and that is both cases involved minors. But, what this man did ,it does not compare to a willing teenager!!! The crimes committed by this man are heinous and if the teacher had been forcibly raping her student, then I could agree, but her so called victim was willing to participate and only came out because he was caught, his parents pushed for prosecution.
