All parties at fault. Pedestrian getting in a travel lane. Learners permit without an adult.

Follow Florida’s Uniform Traffic Laws and roads will be safer.

The laws are in place already if people would simply follow them.

Kids make mistakes….parents have to pay and it’s up to the parent to make a lasting impression on the lesson to the child. Sometimes I wonder where those days went…..when there were “lessons”…and “parents”. Big kudos to the good parents out there.

This took place on the “viaduct”, the bridge connecting Mobile Hwy to Cervantes. There were no “new guardrails”. It had nothing to do with the improvements being made on Cervantes.

@ shocked, at 15 they get their learners permit. They are supposed to have a licensed adult over 21 with them while they drive.

Absolutely agree with JPM. We can spend any amount of money on pedestrian crossings and lazy (sometimes stoned) morons will cross anywhere they feel like. If they have to walk more than ten feet out of their way, they will cross wherever they please.
