The stop sign painted on kingsfield at 97 is in dire need of being repainted. I went by there last night and you can barely read the words.

@ Green Rocket: There is a sign as you mentioned as well as a flashing yellow light indicating a STOP ahead as well as STOP AHEAD writing on the ground.

Need more responsible drivers. There is a pretty big stop sign there. Maybe they need a sign that says cross traffic (Hwy 97) does not stop like the one at ten mile road and stefani.

Enough with we need a light or 4 way stop. I have lived out there over 50 yrs. It is not the intersection. It is distracted driving. Pay attention when you are driving period and you will not have these issues. Every time a wreck happens at an intersection people cry put up a light. No. Be responsible drivers.

There are times when a traffic light could help there, but this was at 8:20pm! There’s hardly any traffic there that late at night. Put up a traffic light, but please no more 4 way stops because nobody knows how to use them! The old 4 way stop at Kingsfield/297A was a nightmare at rush hour and at school drop-off/pickup times.

Prayers for everyone involved to have a speedy recovery. I was going north on 97 a few weeks ago and a car travelling east on Kingsfield never saw the stop sign and blew through the intersection. It was a very close call. I think we need a traffic light there ASAP.

Hello? Hello? Does anyone of any importance out there see that that intersection needs to be a 4-way stop with flashing red lights like the one at Kingsfield and 297A? I know…no more stop signs. But look at it this way, it will give everyone a chance to do whatever on their cell phones with fewer accidents. And if it is not a 4-way now because the people coming from the subdivisions north of there don’t want one, look at it this way…they don’t mind bottlenecking when they get around to Pine Forest and 297A!
