The BOCC’s in both Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties need to get kicked out of office…They are definately not looking out for the best interests of the citizens of either county. Also, their personal finances need to be audited regarding payoffs from developers.

It would be nice just have a wearhouse and make a sewing factory or have a printing shop or just anything to make plastic wear so people can have jobs to make some money.

It’s called “progress” for those who have moved here from urban cesspools, sprawl, greed for developers and BOCC, wannabe urban hipsters, and of course, the internet crowd.
Those of us who are lifelong residents of Cantonment and northward will have no other choice soon but to move further into rural areas if we want to retain our lifestyle. All those who come from the cesspools immediately want to change what attracted them here to start with. And let’s not forget, they also vote in a way that turned their prior area into something they wanted to move away from. Makes great sense huh ?

I’m going to buy that eye sore of a golf course that the paper mill owns and turn it
Into a beautiful recreation park for the community. Hire some upbeat modern planners for our community. Get rid of the old stale ugly look of North Cantonment.

@Carlos – Same thought that went through my head. Even if there is just 1 employee per store, you are down to 25 slots. Two of the slots are HC parking, which puts you at 23 slots for non-HC patrons. Like you, I wonder what kind of businesses only require that few spaces. Finally, if they put a business in just one or two spaces that draws a decent amount of folks, there will not be anywhere else to park.
