@Mary. Are you kidding me? Maybe you see astronauts and people who offer tons to humanity. What I see is punks who Hopedale going to get what’s coming to them. Not a damn thing sad about justice! I just hope the Clardy family at least has a little peace. God Bless Ladarious Clardy!

My heart goes out to the Parents of Ladarius Clardy They did all the right things to raise a successful young man. They were present in his life, guiding him in Church and school & on to college. They are heartbroken parents who lost their only child. I hope these killers never see the light of day for shooting over 50 rounds into the wrong car. No regard for who was inside. It could have been a family. They are pure killers with NO conscience. Rot in Prison.

Not gonna bash you.
For the last 30 years, and more, things have been changing in the family structure.
More homes with single parents, usually Moms, or other family taking care of the kids for whatever reason. Absent men – won’t call them “fathers” who offer no support or help and many who a good mom wouldn’t want around anyway.
Younger and younger parents most of who drop out of school and if working have lower paying jobs. Government encourages more babies by paying benefits for them. Taxpayers are burdened and so is society at large.
Kids go unsupervised and find “Family” in the groups of friends they run with.
Those get tighter and tighter as the kids get into older teenagers and they look for easy quick money to buy whatever they want or barter one thing for another.
Pensacola, Escambia County have large and small Gangs who steal from homes businesses homes automobiles, rob individuals especially the elderly or handicapped who are easy pickings, carjack, etc.
Drugs are too easy to come by and buy to pass along in trade to others.
Their business crosses every line of people rich-poor, black-white, male-female and thrives on ages old to very young.
Law Enforcement is having a tough time getting these kids to court and trial as the State Attorney won’t move a case forward unless it can be won. Why spend time and money on a weak case?
Mary….wish there was an easy solution but there is not one for this case or the hundreds and thousands like it across our nation.
God, Please Save our USA….

@Mary There is nothing good about these “young men”. Yes, good parenting sure would have helped a lot but it must not have been available in the years they were born. Hmmm. So glad they’re in a cage where they belong.

Yeah Mary, If it hadn’t been for this unfortunate incident they would have probably started a non-profit to help end hunger and bring sunshine to those without it.

Why did it take so many to kill one? It’s just so sad to see young men throwing their lives away. Now they will likely not get the chance to see what great people they could be.
Neither will the deceased young man. So very sad.
