I heard a friend of mine say "let them all out like they want and the violent crime will be so far out of control the populous will vote to restore police and corrections." He may not be far off. Some of the openings for skilled trades with the state and county is like 32000 a year for a mechanic. Way more money in the private sector and just as good of benefits. The state and county won't have anyone at the skilled positions before long. No one wants to work and the ones who do make way more with less headaches than the state and county jobs. Our state employees need to be treated better than this. The job itself is really not that bad.
