Josh Jones good for you if you are willing and can afford to pay all living expenses for thousands of idle people. Not everybody is that fortunate and some of us who worked and saved all our lives are fed up watching the government take back every cent to feed and house people who are too good to get their hands dirty. Food stamps allocation per person have increased since the pandemic – so why are kids hungry. ? Not lack of food , laziness of parent to prepare it is most often the cause.

I would like to know if you are helping people that have been told they have to move because owners want their house back and are only giving us a month and a half to move and we don’t have the money to do so since they hold your deposit for up to 39 day’s and we have not had any luck or found anything affordable

I don’t want to see anyone live on the streets or go hungry, BUT “Property Manager” says alot of truth. There are signs in every window I have came to advertising jobs but noone wants to go to work when they can sit on their tushes and have us tax payers foot their bill. I for one am quite sick of it. I still have to pay everything on my own (I am a single woman) and I have received no handouts from anyone. McDonalds is paying $14 an hour….GO GET A JOB IF YOU REALLY WANT TO PAY YOUR OWN WAY! What would happen if we all quit our jobs and lived off the government?? Well then there would be no taxpayers left to foot the bill would there??

The aim, in my opinion, is to prevent folks from losing their homes – rental or otherwise. Having a lot of people on the street, with nowhere to live is not a good thing – for society as well as for the individual families. Just as we don’t want people to go hungry we also don’t want them to be homeless. We are compassionate like that.

The government prohibited evictions for MONTHS and MONTHS. Almost every business is advertising HELP WANTED so jobs are available.
In that very short window where owners were ‘allowed’ to begin eviction processes, I can tell you many of the debters were behind in payments that had nothing to do with Covid yet judges granted every allowable excusable to be presented. THere was a time when you had to place money into the court registry if you wanted your day in court.
Where do you think this magic money is coming from? Mortgage companies aren’t forgiving the mortgage payments for the landlord ! !! This is insanity and people should wake up and figure out how they are going to pay their own way Their own way thru life. I have tightened my belt to this thru these last 2 years and haven’t received a single hand out!!! Mad as hades? You are right, I’m mad!
