I know a CNA that was accused of mistreating an elderly patient. She was fired, charged and blackballed from the profession, her name was dragged through the mud. She lost everything she owned and wound up homeless for 2 years while awaiting her day in court. All charges were dropped , they were “ unfounded” by the law. She is a very sweet and caring person and “ caregiver”. I would trust her to care for my family anytime.
The moral of my story : don’t judge people based on what you hear. And in the case of a crime, let the law investigate to find the truth. Her only crime was working with some evil lying women that didn’t like her because they were jealous of her hard work ethic that made their lazy butts look bad.

My husband had Vascular Dementia, and I took care of him until he passed. Thank God I didn’t have to put him in a nursing home. This piece of crap needs to be put in jail for a long time, but they’ll slap her hand and let her go back to doing the same thing. God has a place for people like this.

this is a job that’s not just a job I’ve been in and out of nursing homes for years and you must have a loving heart and want to make the elderly just love you they are like kids alot of them go back in time . they need baths and have to wipe their butt and feed them give them meds it’s alot to deal with but either you have the heart for the job or you don’t. ( show the love )

Easy to get a CNA certificate, but not a job that’s easy.
Those who work in nursing homes fulfill a great need although when you don’t realize that it’s not really the job for you move on to something else.. abusing any individual is atrocious.
This individual needs to push a mop around cleaning floors,Not pushing Alzheimer’s/ dementia residents.

OH. !!! I want to scream ! Don’t the saying go ” an eye for an eye “. I want to be the one collecting PLEASE ! You just know this is not the first offense . It breaks my heart to even think about what she has probably done to these poor vulnerable human beings . I hope they feel the same way about the elderly as they do about kids behind bars and give her a little of her own while she is there . Now Mr. DA no plea bargains for this piece of scum . Go for every minute of justice you can for these precious seniors .

Our tax dollars pay for these type of cretins to attend CNA school for FREE. My clients are nursing homes and assisted living facilities and these facilities have an abundance of lazy and worthless “help”, some are defiant and some feel as though as they are immune to following civilized behavior. I’ve met some wonderful people in these facilities but the handful in each facility that act like the above mentioned put the residents and business at risk.

Our elderly should be put on pedestals, not abused. I’d love to sit on that jury!
