Such negative comments. I for one am glad to see tax dollars spent where they need to be. Beulah is growing super fast. This is needed. They ( the school board) an those over seeing this tax money, spreads it around to different schools. So stay patient I would bet Warrington elem. Will get their piece of the $$$ soon.

I was a student in Warrington elem. I attended school while they were removing the asbestos and yes they did do it during school hours with STUDENTS PRESENT!!! lol XD We saw workers come in wearing white suites and commercial air masks with the cannisters on the side. They removed it from the hallways while students were in class though our classroom doors were open for part of it the teachers closed them after a while because it was noisy. They used large yellow vacuum hoses to suck out the falling asbestos as they scraped it off the ceiling.

All those Millions… Clearly they could be better spent in other ways for the children of Escambia County… Sorry, just “Old School” thinking on my part I guess…

There are other schools in the county that could use this money, I’m sure Warrington can use a new school, not just a cafeteria. I wouldn’t doubt if there isn’t still asbestos in that building, it’s over 60 years old!!! I live down the road from Beulah elementary, all of children went their and so do my grandchildren and I still say other schools in the district need that money more than Beulah!!!

The current Beulah Elementary opened in 1980. 41 years ago. I doubt that the school board back then could have predicted the astronomical growth of our community over the past 4 decades.

Well, the school board really did some thinking
when they planed beulah..They (school board)
is just like the elected officuals of Escambia…….
THEY CAN’T PLAN FOR THE FUTURE……..
what a great county we live in………
