I am just now seeing these comments. Yes this my daughter. Never in a million years I would have thought that she would commit and act like this. I Didn’t rise her to steal or robbed. And for the record my daughter didn’t drive to Atmore Al, from Huntsville Al. . .you all can see my child is stone out of mind. And for the driver Alicia Hodges. GOD WILL DEAL WITH YOU ACCORDING!

This story just got my attention and you are right, there are a lot of ways to get money. People are so desperate but don’t want to take the time to do like most of us do. I live in Huntsville and you hear a lot about people and their situations. What would make a person go almost 5 hours from the city they reside in to do the most is unbelievable. Armed Robbery is a Felony and should be punished by the law but if no weapon was found, I still stand on leniency and rehabilitation. She’ll have time to clean her act up and get her life together and become a better citizen. Don’t judge me, im afraid of jail, I love my freedom.

Not a threat to society!?!
First degree robbery is not a threat to society?! I would really hate to see what Tammy considers a “threat to society”. Robbery is a violent crime. Without violence, or the threat of violence, it’s otherwise just a theft. Desperate or not this is not the type of person we need running free. Tammy also seems to know this woman personally and her inability to drive, Maybe I missed that part in the article, or maybe some assumptions are being made, but either way it doesn’t matter. There’s a lot of ways to get help without resorting to crime.

Its really sad to see the desperation in people. I thank God for keeping me. I’ll never say never because no one knows what trouble lead her to result to get actions. I pray for all parties affected by this situation.

Yes, she may have passed a lot of HELP WANTED SIGNS and YES she should have done like most of us do, go to work. All I know is this woman had to have help, how the hell did she get to Atmore, she can’t even drive. FREE THEREASE, she’s not a threat to society, she needs help. She should have thought about this b4 robbing Walmart

As this woman was driving into the Walmart parking lot she literally passed a Help Wanted sign. In fact, I’m sure she passed hundreds of Help Wanted and Now Hiring signs between Huntsville and Atmore. I know times are tough and inflation and high prices and all that, but instead of robbing Walmart she could’ve went to work there and got her money legitimately. You know, like the rest of us.

Life is hard out here but I don’t think she had a weapon. Please be easy on her. It’s hard out here and no one got hurt. I don’t condone what she did but I ask the judge and police to be easy on her.
