I will welcome a RV Park. We have been to a lot of rv parks, and everyone has rules to live by while camping. Come on people, give it a rest. If not a rv park, it could be something a lot worse. Lets build a homeless camp, and see what a mess that would be, or, rows and rows of shotgun houses, that would be a pretty sight. Not one park that we have camped at has low life in it. Every one is super friendly and just happy campers. know one bothers any body and will abide by the rules. No dogs or cats running loose. Just give it a chance. Molino Girl

It is not determined whether it will be septic or sewer. If septic, it will have an septic engineer the system to meet all guidelines and regulations. We are hoping to do sewer, this still working on it. Unfortunately everything is a slow process.

This will not be another trashy RV park. It is to stay well maintained with many regulations to stay a the Resort. My husband and I stay at several RV parks and the well maintained stay full because that is what people want.

Someone had mentioned the concern of this becoming a mobile home park. This can never happen as the zoning and guidelines are different.

Can’t help but feel that despite best intentions, this will end up being nothing more than a trailer park. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig.

The plans show a single septic tank, a solids tank with pump and a large septic drainfield. It notes it is “to be designed by others”.

8.6 acres! I have 4 acres and am only allowed by the county to have no more than ONE septic tank for each acre owned. So, are they only installing EIGHT septic tanks? Or is there a different standard applied here?

Anything over 12 inches of certain trees are protected for every protected tree removed others will have to be replaced. We are saving every tree that we can but due to the retention pond; unfortunately, we have to lose some. Others are sick and need to be removed because they are unsafe. I love trees and hate that I have to remove any.

This will not be another trashes RV park that’s why it’s the Magnolias RV Resort. There will be multiple guidelines to stay in the park. Older trailers will have to be approved to stay in the park. If they don’t meet certain standards they will not be allowed. Every lot will have to be maintained and keep orderly.

Yes animals will be allowed on leashes only. If they are not well behaved and maintained appropriately, they will be made to leave the park.

Sewer is available but it is on the other side of hwy 29 but we are looking into connecting to the sewer if possible.

We have made the lots twice the size that is required and deeper for parking and to set the RVs off the roadway. We want there to be plenty of room for each occupant.

There will be a 6 ft privacy fence around the east and north sides to ensure privacy for the residence of the community. The west side is wooded land and the south side faces Neal Rd which will have a row of trees planted to help with privacy.

There will also be a 16 ft natural buffer on the east and north sides as well.

I hope this does not get approved here. Build an RV park somewhere else where it would make more sense for camping, etc. The only purpose for an RV park here is to mask it as an RV park, but use it for people to have more permanent RV lots to live all the time. Cantonment is growing and needs to keep growing with actual neighborhoods, not some cheap RV park that we know will end up an eye sore later.

@J.Larry Seale I agree. Way too many trees which block views and get in the way – mow them down. Make RV parks spread out more with at least 40′ between lots to make if feel more like camping and not a parking lot.
