@John. I’m not as concerned about what we CALL it, as what we DO to stop it. We’ve been here already, opening schools without mandatory masking as cases in our state are higher than ever. With the variant even more easily spread and affecting younger people, including kids, what should we expect?

@Thatguy. Your claims are all contrary to the large majority of medical experts. Not just doctors and nurses, but researches who have been working in virology and immunology for decades, preparing for just this kind of outbreak. The virus mutates, each time more easily lessening the effectiveness of the current vaccine. That means there will be improved vaccines. Understand that there are lots of projections that don’t jive with what happens later. All the variables make it harder – population concentrations, travel into/from other area, some areas masking, others not, large events/holiday gatherings. Research can isolate the virus in a lab, but human behavior, not so much. That’s where masks and vaccines come in. We can buy some time without filling hospital beds with Covid patients at the expense of people with other medical issues. Stay safe!

The vaccine is only good 3-6months and isn’t affective against the Delta variety. Which makes me wonder why the big push for a vaccine that’s only good 3-6,months and not against the leading cause? Also if you have had covid why would you need a vaccine to give your body what it already has(antibodies)?

According to the CDC, 541 children, ages 0-17, have died NATIONWIDE since March 2020.

Of the 6 million Jews who died in the Holocaust, 1,500,000 million were children.

That’s 1,500,000 vs 541. Calling it Nazi Level Evil is pure hyperbole.

UNBELIEVABLE! Now after all the death and illnesses – you are saying “get the shot-wear the mask!! I HAVE SAID THAT CONSISTENTLY throughout this mess-and yet I had to run into Winn Dixie as I had forgotten something – I have been vaccinated since 2/2021 – fully vaccinated-and had to drive to north west Milton for it, and this big red neck dumb ugly broad called me a B____! I was about 1 of 4 people with a mask on – I left the store without purchasing it because of the lack of masks! DESANTES and those who follow him – I think if you are unvaccinated – well bye bye! My sympathy for these people is gone…My patience for stupidity is gone

Covid is and will cause financial hardships for those admitted to a hospital as well as the possible long term issues that could impact a person’s life. It is heartbreaking. I know many are afraid of the vaccine but Covid could change your life forever.
