She gave her life to drugs. Drugs demanded a human sacrifice. Her child died a horrible death. There is no evidence she intended what happened. I doubt she would do it again or that she ever thought it might happen in the first place. Others will do it again, though. Someone will tell them drugs are harmless or alcohol isn't really a drug or that it isn't addictive or this will just give them a high or some similar sales pitch. And they will pass out while driving or "watching" the kids. And somebody else will die. Not someday. TOMORROW. And the next day and the next and the next and... You will barely -- if at all -- notice. At least she hates what she did and admits her guilt. For those yet to come, history tells us their friends will defend them, say, "That's why they call them accidents," or, "Everybody drinks a little and drives," or some other excuse for whichever drug was involved. No, please don't fantasize about killing her or torturing her. She did what she did because she sold herself to drugs; what would your excuse be?
