All those saying sidewalks… There are sidewalks all the way down pace.. On both sides of the road. So sidewalks wouldn’t be a factor in this man’s death. It’s the mindset of the pedestrian crossing the road, not at a crosswalk. People are always crossing where there isn’t a cross walk. That’s what the problem is.

Ugh maybe the first step would be SIDEWALKS. This county is pathetic when it comes to pedestrian safety. Maybe stop taking a million years to fix roads and start putting i sidewalks. I have lived here for over 10 years and it is probably the longest I have ever seen workers take to fix a dam road. I have seen an expansion of a huge freeway in San Diego be done in less than 2 years.

David is not blaming the driver here. He is only asking people (drivers) to be careful, drive safe, obey the rules of the road and the laws. That’s not too much to ask. Care should also be for the people who are walking across the roads. Too many people take chances with their lives when they are not careful.

Dave Coleson, there is no mention of the driver doing anything wrong. The pedestrians need to take care crossing all streets.

@David Coleson, most of these car vs pedestrian are the pedestrian’s fault. If grown men and women can’t look both ways and determine a safe crossing, then we can’t wag our fingers at drivers.

Prayers for all individuals involved. It’s sad to see so many lives lost on the roadways. Its definitely a reminder to drive safe and obey all laws of the road. These roads are so so so dangerous yall. Please take a second to think and slow down. Think about your loved ones and everyone else’s loved ones.
