As a gun owner, I am all for requiring a CC and im am definitely all for the local tax collector offices handling it. We could even add it to people driver licenses instead of a separate card.
1. It requires people to have basic safety skills.
2. A drug dealer can find a way to weasel out of drug charges. Its pretty difficult to beat a concealed weapon charge. A permit keeps honest people from accidentally getting hit with it.

Gun laws are annoying because they are only enforceable after someone commits a crime. For law abiding citizens, its easy enough to stay within the law and letting local tax offices handle it just helps keep legal owners on the right side of the laws.

If the state adopted constitutional carry and respected our second amendment rights we wouldn’t need to put more responsibility on our already business tax collector offices.
