By the way, this law applies to rocks thrown at school buses…or objects thrown from school buses. And it is all recorded for parts of the bus, so don’t try your luck. Save your rocks for the rock shortage.

Oh, and rights of way in Bluff Springs proper (as platted) are 80′ total (roads included, if any). Several fences probably go out on public property.

Ok so all of you who thinks he was overcharged-if someone threw a rock at your car and it bounced off or cracked it, you would be ok with it? I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be! Had that rock busted the window and hit the driver a lot worse could have occurred. The spill of dirt on the grass wasn’t intentional!! And surely didn’t warrant anyone throwing anything at the dump truck.

You may maintain the right of way, in front of your home, but it’s not “YOUR” yard. It isn’t your property.

Yes, he should have handled it better. However, I can see the calls to supervisors and being given “Oh, sorry, your problem”.
