Please remove the concrete pilings above the rail. Move the lights below the rails. You will loose your fish going over them. No other pier was smart enough to make that mistake.

@ j in Perdido, you must be one of those people who never has used a county or city pier or park. So instead of saying the city and county has other things to worry about why don’t you take time to call the city and county and tell them to do their jobs and that they work for us and not special interest.

County and City have plenty too deal with. Get over yourself. I doubt you or most people you know make fix/restorations without insurance signing off. On top of all that it is clear the discussion is about two different piers, lol

you ought to see the inaction on the city of Pensacola s part on the parks they have on the water that Sally tore up. When you call ask why they aren’t fixed the answer is they are waiting on FEMA. Total mularkey. But they steady spending money on their pet projects downtown while the average park user gets nothing but the runaround from the city cops if you try to use the parks.

The pier never reopened after
Hurricane Sally. The pier has been closed to everyone since September 16th!

Why didn’t you make the repairs while
the bay bridge was out ???
They should have figured that once the
bay was open, fisherman would to get
back to what they love…….
