Breeze airlines is expanding their routes and bringing in a direct flight to norfolk would be great…a lot of Navy folks in both cities!

Reading a lot of comments about flights.

First there are many airlines the provide non stop flights to cities everyone listed.

There are direct flights from Pensacola to Miami.

There has also been a direct flight to Philadelphia for years on American Airlines.

Also someone posted that you have to fly to Atlanta to head west. That may have been true In the 90s but we now have 10 direct flights to Dallas, 7-8 to Houston, 3 to Denver to get you out west without having to go on the 8 direct flights to Atlanta.

A lot of the destinations that people want are never going to come true. The first one that may happen is Minneapolis because it’s a delta hub. I hope that southwest or spirit adds a direct to Vegas. But lax will probably never happen.

You may start to see a new flight from Norfolk to Pensacola with breeze if they do decide to expand into Pensacola.

I booked a round trip non stop from Pensacola to St Louis for 155$. So yes the prices are very reasonable. But you can’t bring a checked bag OR a carry on. Only a personal item. The carry on will cost you an additional 60$

So to clear up any people who don’t know the airlines, silver airways flys to ft.lauderdale Tampa and Orlando, and American eagle has service to Miami as well see a lot of people who are asking for airlines to fly to these destinations even though those airlines have been flying those routes for about 6 years now
