I agree with everything you said but you failed to realize it is about the money. Every thing is about the money. She pleads out and saves the state the cost of court. She recieves a lighter sentence, meaning less prison time. Again reducing the cost of keeping her at the big house.
Never forget it is always about the money!

That neck brace doesn’t make me feel the least bit sorry for this person and neither does the sour look on her face. Her sentence was too light. A young man is dead because of her decision to drive drunk. RIP Tyrone Deonta Wilkins

That woman should have been sentenced to life. Plea bargains should be outlawed. Courts are too lenient on drunk murderers.

Not long enough. Most vehicular homicides get 20-25 years. Just because she admits it, she gets lower sentence. Not right

Such a tragic DUI story all around. Even with strict new state DUI laws for people having to fightDUIcharges in court, too many people still make the bad choice of driving impaired and put the lives of others in danger.
