I feel terrible for the family of this precious baby but at the same time I can’t understand why a mother would allow a convicted felon to be in close proximity to her baby . People constantly have their firearms stolen from their car because the vehicle was left unlocked, yes I understand that a person should be able to leave things in their car and no one has the right to enter the vehicle, but when we as a community have knowledge of this we should take appropriate steps to ensure our firearms are always locked up at all times unless it’s on your hip or purse. To have that gun discharged and kill that child truly makes me wonder where was her natural motherly protective mind was. I believe if you take a life you forfeit your right to continue living.
