Basically grew up there. Every spring break, fall break our family camped, swam and picniced during the 60’s and 70’s. Knew the Von Axleson family who was the ranger over the park at the time.Got lost on the way to Bear Lake and Redrock when I was eleven and the whole town looking for me and my brother, Jeff. Great memories.

Looks nice so I pulled up camping websites. First thing I saw was NO PETS allowed at their campground. So won’t be goin there. Most campers have dogs ours only weighs 5 lbs. oh well.

It’s my understanding that the locals still call it Munson Pool. It’s a little piece of Heaven on earth.

One of my most favorite places to swim, cook, walk the trails and just hang out with family & friends. We always called it Munson Beach. It still looks as beautiful as ever!
