If you do not want to get the shot or wear a mask, fine. Just stay away from me and I will stay away from you, no problem.. The vaccine is not 100% effective but it is pretty darn good.. Ps you are not invited to my house for Thanksgiving. LOL

You’re right. The Covid vaccines are designed to reduce your symptoms and transmission rate, not to prevent you from contracting it.

There is no evidence that anyone has died from the Covid vaccine. A very small number of people have had severe reactions, but that number is negligible compared to how many have died of Covid-19.

You’re free to do and think whatever you want. Just like I’m free to think that refusing to be mildly inconvenienced to help protect your neighbors is lazy and selfish.

Tc you are spot on. I was a stage 4 lung cancer survivor missing a lobe in right lung. The reason I won’t get the shot is I have absolutely no faith in this Federal govment. I don’t like wearing a mask, because its very hard to breath. If you want to wear a mask or have the shot, knock your self out. Just don’t try and force it on others.

Glad those who wish to take the vaccine did…after my own research I chose not to. Covid is 98.8 survival..especially if your in good health. Those at high risk….do what you feel necessary to protect yourself…but don’t judge me when I choose not to be vaccinated..because I do not feel these vaccines are safe.

News Flash Richard .. fully vaccinated people are still testing positive with Covid every day.. Vaccinated people are also dying due to complications from the Vaccine. Regardless how much you may want it ,Vaccines will never be mandatory for everyone. You can chose what’s best for you & your family however you won’t be calling the shots for everyone else. Your can wear your mask however long you prefer , each to his own. No one has insulted you for choosing to be vaccinated so how about stop insulting those who chose not to.

The vaccines have been proven to be effective against COVID. There’s always room for more tests or more discussion, but the 3 vaccines currently being deployed have passed every test thrown at them with flying colors.

Some people cannot get the vaccine. They may be too young, may be taking medication that interferes with the efficacy of the vaccine, or may be allergic to one of the components. The only way to protect those people is by getting the vaccine OR continuing to practice social distancing, wearing a mask, and washing your hands.

Personally? I have been vaccinated but keep wearing a mask because:

A) I kinda like that I haven’t had a cold in the past year, and my allergies haven’t been nearly as bad as normal.
and
B) I don’t want anyone to think I’m one of the anti-mask/anti-vax Karens who cares more about my personal convenience than the safety of others.

If you still have concerns about the COVID vaccines, fine. If you are scared of the side affects, fine. If you are afraid of needles, fine. If you do choose not to get the COVID vaccine, please be civil enough to continue wearing a mask in public when social distancing isn’t possible and washing your hands until we can achieve herd immunity.

Aww Bill does this mean that you don’t have much confidence in your vaccine being effective against Covid? I mean since the vaccine has been around for so long & is 100% proven to be safe & effective (NOT). Maybe some folks are just scared of any possible long term effects that may arise years from now since this Vaccine has only been around for a few months.. Maybe some have had bad experiences or bad reactions to Vaccines in the past . Or maybe some have already had the virus & chose not to take the Vaccine. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions regarding Covid. Your opinion is NOT the Gospel my friend . If your high Risk I would recommend staying at home.
