You are 100% correct.
Been driving that intersection 67 years
I am still alive.
I follow the rules and signage.
Dont matter what kind of car or truck you drive,
I have had 4 near misses there…people pulling out on me ..but..I drive the speed and I dont act like the world is coming to an end if I dont get to where I am going in 3 seconds.
Do what you are supposed to do and people need t o stop thinking they are above it all
The person that perished was a human as the rest of us.
It is not a sketchy intersection…we dont a sketchy engineer in Escambia County that makes sketchy intersections. That mentality is what gets people killed.
People are sketchy…by nature,
Prayers for that young man and family.

That’s a sketchy intersection. My husband passes through that intersection often in our corvette. There needs to be a light there.

This is tragic and hurtful
Many claim there should be a red light there and many other places
Humans are humans, we make mistakes.
You can not engineer a human to be perfect.
People speed, run stop signs, run red lights…if there is a law, we break it.
