You know a better solution would be placing poles like the ones they use at embassies that rise out of the road 5 or 6 of them placed across the road on both side of the crossing would prevent any vehicle from driving through the crossing. Wow that took me all of 3 seconds to think of and yes it would cost more but at least it wouldn't be white lines replacing white lines. Common sense isn’t so common. A lot of ignorance on our roads. This is a good idea and I don’t see it as a waste of money. If it can stop one person from being hit by a train then it’s worth it.
