Yummy, hot fresh crispy cornbread. Maybe some fried chicken or pork chops recently cooked in the pot of grease.

Glad everyone was okay. I explained to my wife – NEVER pour a pot of hot grease down the sink. Turn off the heat source, cover with a lid or baking sheet if you have one and use salt or baking soda to put out a grease fire. AND of course a fire extinguisher Class B if you have one, or a A-B-C rating is the best for most household fires.

Take some time to learn about fire extinguishers and the 4 different classes. Hopefully none of you will ever have to use one. But it helps to have one or two in case you ever need it.
