Since the vaccine has been readily available locally for almost two months, most of the people who are now dying from covid are people who refused the vaccine. Yes there is a small percentage of people who are allergic or very ill and have been directed by their doctor not to take it. But how very sad to be dying now for something that is preventable and for which you rejected the vaccine. Two people died here in Escambia last week. It is your choice.

Thanks, to all who wore the masks and protected themselves and others from this awfull virus. We can now go about our business without being masked.
This vaccine has been in the works for 10 years + .

Escambia County population is 318,000. 108,000 vaccinated. 7,000 in two week. 4 weeks to July. is 14,000 more. We will never reach herd immunity at this rate. 70% is 222,600 people. At 14,000 every two weeks, We will get herd immunity in 30 weeks and that is if wee maintain 14,000 every two weeks, which we will not!
Lets get off our butts and get vaccinated.

I’m very disappointed that there are people like you in our community that were lazy and selfish enough to put their own convenience ahead of protecting their community

Memorial Day weekend is about remembering and honoring the people that made the ultimate sacrifice to defend their country.

…and you can’t even make the sacrifice of wearing a piece of cloth over your face for 5 minutes when you go to the store to pick up groceries.

Never wore the mask , will never have that shot .To the people say I’m wrong please tell
Me the long term effect of it .Not one to put things in my body till I know the long term study of it .66 and never abided to government rules always had the perfect reason to not wear a mask and never sick .No God did not protect me,I chose for myself what I wanted for me .
